Classes

Latin Dance Skills & Drills - $15

Dance Drills to develop your dance skills! Technique and dance fundamentals that support a variety of latin dance styles. Class will start with a warmup, a series of dance drills, then a Latin-focused Latin Fusion Choreo taught each week. Class is solo, not partnered, and focused on body movement, foot speed, and toning/fitness. Styles included are samba, salsa, mambo, tango and others. Please bring both tennis shoes (exercise type footwear) as well as dance shoes (if you have them).

DE Latin Dance Ensemble - $90 (call for appointment)

Latin dance ensemble monthly membership rate, includes training per month, practice/floor fees, performance opportunities and one-on-one training. Additional cost for some services

Somatic Movement Coaching

Private Sessions - Somatic Fundamentals of movement - $100 (call for appointment)

Minimum number of single sessions is 2.

Laban Movement Analysis & Assessment (package) - $250 (call for appointment)

Includes 2 1-hr sessions (Introductory assessment + 1 movement coaching session). Package includes a written mini-movement profile assessment which includes a partial Laban Movement Analysis and elements form the Kestenberg Movement Profile( KMP).

Supervised practice with pointers, etc. regular practice and choreography. Partner try-outs/ review and coordination. Technique correction and adding/creating choreography. First session is $discounted. of 2-3 sessions for ongoing coaching.

Events & Workshops

Valentine's Day @ Terra Blanca - $20

Special event for couples or singles in the cozy and romantic Terra Blanca. Enjoy an evening of dancing and music to celebrate the theme of love, especially for Valentines Day! Wine available for purchase. Snacks provided. Dance lesson with Mindi and "B" from 7:30 - 8:15pm, special surprises throughout the evening and dancing until 10pm

Women who Lead - $35

Join Janine Hernandez & Mindi Sheer for an interactive dance workshop focused on women leading women. Focus will be Latin dances but principles for other dances will be included.

Previous class series

Latin Club - Salsa y Bachata level 1-2 - $12

7:30 - 8:30pm, Thursdays

You’ll learn fun variations and also how to isolate your body and cue into the music to explore your own style.

Starting and brand-new dancers are welcome as are those who know these dances. It is our philosophy as teachers that it benefits all to have different levels, and we divide the class as needed so all learn something new.

\What is different and unique about us? we have a creative and unique teaching approach. We use some of the best Latin music out there, and curate the music so you enjoy dancing in class. We believe that dance 'class' isn't
only for teaching you so you can go 'out' dancing, it is plain and simple (also) a chance to dance in a safe and fun environment.
Music matters!

Enver and Mindi both feel like it is an important skill to 'put yourself in someone's' shoes' when dancing, as this gives you skills beyond the dance floor. We have a combined experience and perspectives of more than 35 years of dancing and have learned first-hand that this creates better dancers, allows partner dancing the chance to grow with the times, and means that more people get to dance. Both men and women (and whichever or however you identify) will get the chance to learn to both lead and follow if they wish.
